Daniel was born and raised in the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area. Throughout all of his life Daniel showed great abilities in both sport and art. Daniel began his show business career while in collage as a Disc Jockey in various night clubs in New York City airing live dance music on Hot 97 & WBLS.
In the early 1990s he expanded his horizons by studying acting at prominent acting schools in New York City, such as HB Studios and The Lee Strasberg Institute of Acting. Throughout the 1990s he landed principal roles in film and television, working his way up to leading roles in The Stand-In (Kelly Ripa, David Ogden Stiers), Wannabes (Joe Viterelli), Jesus, Mary and Joey (Jennifer Esposito, Olympia Dukakis 2003) among others. He also served as an Associate Producer on several of them.
2008 was an especially rewarding year, as Danny was part of an ensemble cast in the short, The Bronx Balletomane (Frederico Castelluccio), which won an Academy Award in the Student Film Category. He also starred in the feature film, The Don of 42nd St, which he also Associate Produced. The film is currently winning Awards at festivals throughout the country.
In all, Daniel may be best known for his Clio-winning turn in the very popular “Got Milk” commercial and looks forward to his Co-Starring role in the period kids Adventure film, The Mighty Misfit Kids, where he will also serve as an Executive Producer. The film is set to shoot in the summer of 2013.
